These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and LGPTQ ("LGPTQ," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We've tried to write these plainly — if anything here is unclear, reach out and we'll explain it in real language.
LGPTQ is an AI companion that helps you explore your identity, communicate with confidence, recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, and navigate boundaries and consent. It offers reflection, information, and options — it never decides anything on your behalf, and it isn't a substitute for professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, or emergency services.
The Service is intended to support self-understanding and healthier communication. It is not a licensed therapist, physician, attorney, or crisis counselor, and nothing generated by the Service should be treated as a diagnosis, prescription, or professional recommendation.
If you are in crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately. LGPTQ is not equipped to respond to emergencies.
You must be at least 18 years old to use LGPTQ. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
We may ask you to verify your age or identity at any time and may suspend accounts where we reasonably believe these representations are false.
To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or breach of these Terms.
You may not share your account, transfer it to another person, or create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or restriction. We may require additional verification steps for account recovery and are not liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your login credentials.
"User Content" means any text, messages, files, or other material you submit, upload, or generate through the Service, including conversations that may reference or involve other people. You're responsible for anything you paste, type, or upload into LGPTQ. Don't submit content you don't have the right to share, and don't use LGPTQ to harass, deceive, or surveil someone without their knowledge or consent.
You keep ownership of what you submit. We don't claim rights over your conversations beyond what's needed to operate the Service, generate a response for you, maintain security and reliability, and comply with law. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store transiently, and transmit your User Content solely for these purposes.
You're solely responsible for ensuring that any User Content involving a third party does not violate that person's privacy, publicity, or other legal rights. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, remove, or restrict access to User Content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.
You agree not to use LGPTQ to:
We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required by law. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.
LGPTQ's responses are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete, out of date, biased, or simply wrong. Nothing LGPTQ says is professional advice — legal, medical, psychological, financial, or otherwise — even if phrased in an authoritative or empathetic tone. Use your own judgment, especially in situations involving your safety, health, finances, or legal standing.
You should independently verify any factual claim, referral, or resource the Service provides before relying on it. We do not guarantee that responses will be accurate, complete, appropriate for your specific situation, or free of harmful content, and we disclaim liability for actions taken in reliance on Service output to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Some features of the Service may be offered on a paid, subscription, or usage basis. Where applicable:
We use third-party payment processors to handle transactions and do not store full payment card details ourselves. Failed or disputed payments may result in suspension of paid features until resolved.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying technology (excluding User Content), is owned by LGPTQ or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on the Service or its underlying technology, except as expressly permitted by us in writing. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used on the Service are our property or the property of their respective owners.
Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you voluntarily submit about the Service may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.
The Service may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party services, resources, or hotlines (for example, crisis support directories). We don't control these third parties and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.
LGPTQ is designed to support reflection on identity, communication, and relationships — it is not designed or equipped to handle emergencies. If the Service detects language suggesting risk of harm to you or someone else, it may respond with safety information or point you to external resources, but it cannot dispatch emergency services, contact authorities on your behalf, or guarantee an appropriate response.
Do not rely on LGPTQ in place of emergency services, a crisis line, law enforcement, or another human being who can act in real time. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis hotline immediately.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without liability, if we believe in good faith that you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practical, we'll provide notice of termination unless doing so would compromise safety, security, or a legal obligation.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.
We don't store your conversations and we don't sell your data. Details on what limited information we do process, how long we retain it, and why, are covered in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LGPTQ AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH A CLAIM IS BASED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LGPTQ and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, except to the extent caused by our own negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
We'd rather resolve disagreements directly. Before filing a claim, please contact us and give us a chance to address your concern. If a dispute isn't resolved informally within 60 days, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you and LGPTQ agree that the dispute will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible.
Class action waiver: To the extent permitted by law, you and LGPTQ agree that any proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
This section does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction, and you retain any rights that cannot be waived under such law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LGPTQ is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory local consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise. Subject to the arbitration provisions above, the courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not subject to arbitration.
You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or otherwise designated on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties, or if you are located in a country embargoed by the applicable government. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws in your use of the Service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, availability in certain regions, or pricing for new purchases, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required by law or where the change is significant, provide additional notice (such as an in-product notification or email). Continuing to use LGPTQ after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and LGPTQ regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create any rights for any third party.
Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
"Service" means the LGPTQ website, application, AI companion features, and any related tools or content we make available.
"User Content" means any material you submit to or generate through the Service, as described in Section 04.
"You" or "your" means the individual or, where applicable, the entity using the Service under these Terms.
